Mitch Anthony is the founder and president of Advisor Insights Inc. (the parent company of MitchAnthony.com, The Financial Life Planning Institute, PracticeTools.net, and NewRetirementality.com). For more than a decade, Mitch and his team have provided training and development for both individual advisors and major financial organizations. His ideas for client engagement are being licensed by major firms throughout the industry.
Mitch is the author of several books for advisors and consumers, including The New Retirementality, The Cash In The Hat, StorySelling for Financial Advisors,Your Clients for Life, Your Client’s Story, and From The Boiler Room To The Living Room. He is a very popular keynote speaker delivering 70+ speeches a year at industry events.
Mitch is a former contributing editor for Research magazine and currently his column “Financial Life Planning” appears in Financial Advisor magazine. He has been named one of the financial service industry’s top “2006 Movers & Shakers” by Financial Planning magazine.

As Vice President, Debbie is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Advisor Insights Inc. (including MitchAnthony.com, NewRetirementality.com, PracticeTools.net, and the Financial Life Planning Institute). She oversees the company’s extensive publishing and training programs, manages logistics for Mitch’s consulting and speaking engagements, and works with him on developing content and curricula for clients. A former teacher (with degrees in music education and psychology), Debbie has been working with Mitch for over 20 years.

Phyllis Barnidge

Phyllis joined the Financial Life Planning Institute (FLPI) in March of 2007 as the Director of Member Services and Project Development. Phyllis’s chief responsibility is directing and managing the FLPI, including membership needs, events, and content delivery. She has a BS in Education and an MS in statistics. Phyllis brings an unparalleled passion to serve and a desire to help advisors develop lifelong relationships with their clients.

Coach
Bob is the Financial Life Planning Institute’s resident financial life planning coach. He heads up the Institute’s coaching program to help financial services organizations and individual advisors make the transition from transaction-based to return-on-life advising. Bob is a recognized expert in the areas of succession planning, retirement income planning, long-term care planning, and veterans’ benefits. As financial advisor to hundreds of families over the last 30 years, he has helped his own clients move from return on investment to return on life. A graduate of Princeton University, Bob received a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Connecticut. He holds the designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Certified in Long-term Care (CLTC). Bob is the author of the groundbreaking book, Can We Talk? A Financial Guide for Baby Boomers Assisting Their Elderly Parents.

Al developed “The Practice Management Assessment Tool” that can be found at practictools.net, and is the organization's resident Business Practice consultant, coach and practice expert. He has authored numerous articles on practice management that have appeared in various professional publications, and is the face behind the popular “The Doctor is In” column for “Mitch Anthony’s Intuitive Advisor” newsletter. Al combined his Liberal Arts studies with 10 years of management experience at McDonald’s Corporation to enter the financial services world more than two decades ago. Since then, Al has evolved from an MDRT-level sales rep into a full-time consultant specializing in helping others transform their businesses into prime practices.
