Mitch Anthony is the founder and president of Advisor Insights Inc. (the parent company of MitchAnthony.com, The Financial Life Planning Institute, PracticeTools.net, and NewRetirementality.com). For more than a decade, Mitch and his team have provided training and development for both individual advisors and major organizations (click here for a client list).
Mitch is a contributing editor for Research magazine and his column “Financial Life Planning” appears in Financial Advisor magazine. He has been named one of the financial service industry’s top “2006 Movers & Shakers” by Financial Planning magazine. His radio feature, The Daily Dose, is heard daily on 100 radio stations nationwide.
Mitch is the author of several books for advisors and consumers, including StorySelling for Financial Advisors, The New Retirementality, Your Clients for Life, Selling with Emotional Intelligence, Making the Client Connection, The Financial Professional’s StoryBook, Your Client’s Connection, and The Daily Dose.

As Publisher and Director of Operations for MitchAnthony.com, Debbie manages the publishing of all print product, as well as contracting and logistics for Mitch’s speeches and consulting work. A former teacher (with degrees in music education and psychology), Debbie has been helping Mitch develop content for more than 60 educational curricula for close to 20 years.

Phyllis Barnidge

Phyllis joined the Financial Life Planning Institute (FLPI) in March of 2007 as the Director of Member Services and Project Development. Phyllis’s chief responsibility is directing and managing the FLPI, including membership needs, events, and content delivery. She has a BS in Education and an MS in statistics. Phyllis brings an unparalleled passion to serve and a desire to help advisors develop lifelong relationships with their clients.

A veteran advisor, Certified Financial Planner®, and Master Coach, Mary brings a depth of experience to the Institute and a desire to help advisors improve their lives and practices. She has practiced as a successful financial planner since 1984 and is licensed in securities, life insurance, and real estate. Mary has a BS in Psychology and received her coach training from the Graduate School of Coaching and Legacy Learning (Franklin Covey Coaching). As an experienced Intelligence Development Coach, Mary works with advisors to reorient their lives for greater success, meaning, and fulfillment.

Business Practice Consultant
Al developed “The Practice Management Assessment Tool” that can be found at practictools.net, and is the organization's resident Business Practice consultant, coach and practice expert. He has authored numerous articles on practice management that have appeared in various professional publications, and is the face behind the popular “The Doctor is In” column for “Mitch Anthony’s Intuitive Advisor” newsletter. Al combined his Liberal Arts studies with 10 years of management experience at McDonald’s Corporation to enter the financial services world more than two decades ago. Since then, Al has evolved from an MDRT-level sales rep into a full-time consultant specializing in helping others transform their businesses into prime practices.
